History:
The Spaehpanzer 2 "Luchs" that has been used by German army tank reconnaissance units since 1975 is well armoured, has an on board NBC system and is characterized by extremely quiet running. As armament it has as RH 202 20 mm cannon. The SpPz 2 A2 is also used for peace-keeping misions by SFOR in Bsnia and KFOR in Kosvo.
